Last Day of School

I'm one of those weird moms that loves summer vacation and gets sad when the kids go back in the fall.  Today was our last day.  My son's last year in middle school and my daughter's last year in elementary school.  Luckily I still have two left in elementary school.  I went to pick up  kid#1 and all of the teachers were outside in the parking lot waving to all of the honking school buses full of kids waving back.  It made me cry.  I am so thankful for people who become teachers.  Thank you for touching our children's lives and helping them grow.
My daughter and I made M&M gift bags for all of their teachers.  I originally thought, hey four kids, that's four teachers, how easy is that?  Wrong!  We ended up making 32!  I forgot about all of the teachers that are involved in my making my kids awesome.  I found this awesome poem on Pinterest (ofcourse) and can't find the source of it, so if you wrote it, tell me and thank you!

Here's the poem that I retyped and added a little "Laura" flair too!
You can use it if you want. Just right click and do your thing!

Spring Subway Art

Even though outside at my house is far from looking like Spring, I am hopeful it will eventually arrive.  Might not be until May though so I decided to create art that included a few months.  Plus, do you really want to get your craft on and make your subway art and then only display it for a few weeks?  This one can stay up for a while.  Just click the picture and it should open up the download.  ENJOY!

If you want it to print on a full sheet of paper, slide the little bar under the .pdf all the way to the right (towards the +) and then print.

There is Sunshine in My Soul Today

In honor of General Conference weekend, I made this Hymns subway art.  I love that everytime I walk by it, I end up singing a hymn.

So easy to make!
Step one~ cut a board 9.5" x 12.",  paint it.  (I used white)

Step two~ Pick the color below that you want and click on it  for the printable art.

Step three- Mod Podge it on the wood!

I love comments!

OOOPS Update!!!  So sorry guys, it has just been one of those days!!!  HAHA!   If you want it to print on a full sheet of paper (like I did)... find the little slider bar under the .pdf and slide it all the way to the right (towards the +) and then print.  Make sense?  Crazy day here, my kids are hungry, my kitchen is a mess, there is a project that I didn't know about due tomorrow, my husband is working late. etc.
